Things you may want to avoid

Difficulty: --
Misc. Advice

This may not apply to any of you and if it does then I'm uber happy =) Anyway here are some personal experiences that I'll like you all to avoid. More along the lines of learn from my mistakes

Life based

1. If your one to spend large amounts a few times a month try buying a planner with monthly expenses charts so that you can keep track of your spending, they can be extremely helpful, because you can total your monthly expenses. With the rest of the planer it can be great for jotting down your paydays, work schedule, and other things.

2. If you like to catch extra ZZZ's before starting your day for school one great way to get a bit of extra sleep is to take out your outfit the night before. Make sure to iron it too so you spend the least amount of time getting ready.

3. Hate doing your HW at home? well do them at school. Free period, during lunch, or the moment you get in class. Unless you have a report to do then you have no choice to really do that at home or a place with a computer. Don't wait to the last minute either. I didn't like doing my homework at home so I did it at school.... but like the day it was due.

Relationships

1. When you invite a boy and kind of can't let him in the house but you have him wait in the hall or main lobby, walk up the stairs do not run... if you still have the urge to run make sure you do it clear of his line of sight in case you fall. [I fell... and I'm still embarrassed about it even if it was pretty much a year ago.]

2. To avoid long periods of just awkwardness between you and a best friend, do not change the relationship from BFF to something more. If you feel that you and that person are better off as friends keep it that way. Because if you decide to turn that into something more and realize that you made a mistake you're going to end up losing that friend, or just causing a awkward relationship between the both of you. It's pretty much known to everyone, like that unspoken rule between friends.

3. If you don't believe in the phrase "opposites attract", don't try it out or date someone you have nothing in common with. You run the risk of a pretty weird relationship. I certainly did.

Computer/Desktop tips

1. If it's known that your computer freezes or just turns off on you then I suggest that you get into the habit of saving your work while working on it, I've lost too many things because I forgot to save my work.

2. Keep a clean desk... just out there for yah to try out, if your messy like me it can be embarrassing when someone decides to drop in and visit.

3. If your just the worst with taking care of your CDs, and you spend majority of your time on the computer then rip the CD into your computer with windows media player. Helps keep your CDs save from you or just being lost forever and you can mix the songs with other songs from your computer and make a pretty bad ass playlist. But please do not illegally offer the ripped songs for download.
