Yeah… that only took a eternity. Anyway its not a lot… but its something. I need to now work on creating more myspace layouts, and perhaps try a new style. Website layouts should also be added. Running out of ideas.

The reason I was gone my friends was for the following reasons:
1. Lazy and in need of a break
2. Recent computer wipe-out resulted in loss of motivation.
3. School: projects, reports and exams, taking up my time.
4. In the process of moving had to pack, mountain upon mountain of clothes, junk and my messy messy desk.
5. Finally moved to new apt with family, phone line up the 2nd day in, turns out my DSL wasn’t going to be connected at least for a week.
So that’s it really, that’s the reason why I was M.I.A. for like EVER. Doesn’t mean that I gave up on SA, in fact with me having the summer off and possibly no work, it leaves me with plenty of time for SA, CB and Subeta. Happy news indeed. Anyway, I will continue to work better on the site and create more content, in this case more myspace layouts. Work a little harder in spreading SA’s name around for more visitors. Pay more attention to my affiliates, without you guys I would get no blog comments and those make my day. Love you guys! (In a totally friendly way)
So here is the deal for SA, more content (number one!), work more with stock, apparently working with celebrity images is like the new taboo now a days. But I would continue to work on my ADV site, that site is like dead without any celeb images. I would also need to work harder to get that site known. Also need to work more on making icons… banners, resources (glares at my crappy scanner), and more tutorials. I might also add in some advice… everything now a days seems to bother me in how things look. Possibly the work of A: turning this hobby into a career or B: just me being a picky 19 year-old girl… no idea.
Before its forgotten I want to thank those who posted comments even if it seemed like I disappeared off the face of the earth. Speaking of that I totally need to add a blog post to Planeteater.
And before yah guys ask, the reason why I didn’t do a thing while my computer was up and running a week before I had internet… well honestly as I make new content I’m always online looking for new ideas, new resources , talking to people, and listening to music… the works. It motivates me. The lack of internet since I moved has actually been a downer. I catch like two un-secured routers here in the building but one is such a pain (oddly, its close enough to get 90%-100% signal strength, but when it comes time to connect to it, it tells me that it’s too far), and the other is a major tease. Only manage to get to the internet on my PSP and PS3, oddly can’t on a laptop or my desktop. But the upside I’ve been slowly creating my room, I got a lot more room for posters now in my new room, and I also been playing with my DS more now, than in the whole year I had it. (Got the guitar hero bundle… it was the only game I played on it. Should have waited…. The red Mario version was so much more cuter *frowns*)

Yeah finally got my ftp program so i was able to upload and update the site with some new contact buttons which you can view here. They are vertical contact buttons nothing really original, but i’ve been wanting to lay off on the the celeb images and focus more on the free stock thats out there. I started to rebuild on my music collection, and downloaded most of my graphics from my site. All to my external hard drive of course. Now to start recollecting all my resources so i can start with making icons, banners and myspace layouts. I still got all my purchased backgrounds (thank god) and will continue to make 1.0 and 2.0 layouts.

That those windows updates that normally fix any problems or prevent any problems your normally encounter with your computer… well if you have them downloading while your surfing the net or working on the computer you run the risk of getting them corrupted. That’s what happened to me. And it also fried the hell out of my hard drive. So i got a new one and finally typing this entry from my desktop. Laptops are such a pain. Sure i lost all my crap, but had this been a year ago i would of been crying in a corner. lol

Thanks to all those who comment, i will be getting to making new content now that i have a fresh start. Although i had a big set of contant buttons sitting to be uploaded prior to losing them all. So i gotta do those again.

Advice Get a external harddrive and use that for all the crap you DON’T want to lose. You will regret not doing it. Trust me.

I can’t believe I lost everything on my computer. It wasn’t my personal files like pictures, and al my art that upsets me, its all my original photoshop files and resources thats something I will miss. Although thanks to my credits section on the site I can get most of it back, but those original files are gone forever. Thankfully I was smart enough to move my purchased backgrounds to that external harddrive i got for xmas, but not smart enough to move all my site stuff. I would have redo all that crap. Seems I caught a worm, that starting eating all my major files that effected the start up of my computer, and replacing them wasn’t working. Then my mom tried to reinstall vista on my 2nd drive (that didn’t have all my files) but after that getting into the drive with all our files wasn’t working. So all that was left was to wipe it out. So now cleaned, installing all those updates is the only problem we are getting now. I can’t win.

I got the week off this week but this will most likely be spent trying to get all my programs back.

Oh yeah i got a tablet. lol can’t use it till i get my photoshop back.

The need for new content…

Lmfao, you know its time for new content when even you don’t want to use your own work. Took me a while to find a icon I wanted to use for this post. Due for new icons. Sadly none on this update, but I did make new Myspace 2.0 layouts. Yeah, food based layouts off of some backgrounds I purchased a few days ago from Dirt2.com owner Andrew. His backgrounds are the best! Lately his work has turn commercial, and so far hes just selling fonts on his site. Anyway… Enough with that shameless plug. I want to thank those who posted comments on my new layout. The site still needs a clean up, and update as a whole on its look. So many pages… don’t want to do it, BUT I HAVE TO! As for the new layouts, its just a small number of 5, but I did purchase a few unisex backgrounds for those guys or girls who dislike all the girly stuff. stay tune for that.

Yeah, finally its up and i edited as much as i can spot in terms of correcting the colors. Some editing to the html is needed… but i wanna get the CSS portions done. If there is anything i missed please comment with the page you spot it in.

This entry only took almost a month, lol… I’ve just been hella lazy and with the report and two projects that bombarded me last week, it made me even more lazy. Anyway while I have no updates, I did finally get a idea on a possible layout for SA! its not the white I was aiming for but even when i tired to add it in… totally didn’t fit. Its almost the same shade as the superman layout… seems I have a thing for teal. Its also a major break from those centered layouts I normally aim for.

yeah, subeta has been taking up most of my time… site is addictive. Normally I get tired of something pretty quick… but this site has more and more stuff to do everyday. Which is great. They recently came out with a zombie virus event… Don’t care what anyone says Zombies rule. So anyway my avatar got sick and slowly started to get ugly and ugly and ugly till I became a zombie. lol. It was pretty cool till they came out with the bite function… people went crazy biting other members… it was a mess… kids… stupid.

So what yah think? good enough to use? it still needs a few CSS changes, perhaps add a little bit of more color. This time I also checked it out on IE… so far so good.
any ideas would be great!

yeah i made a flock of small banners for myspace users who like to visually show their favorite actors and actresses. the collection is very small and theres small editing (like contrast) so its not much different.

School also started for me last Wednesday and already i want to punch my professor. which is odd since i take my classes online… no reason to really hate anyone… but this professor is soo anal its annoying.

Thanks for the comments guys, i’m still gonna change it… like i mentioned format would stay the same… just a little clueless on what to change it too… so for those who like this layout yah guys are in luck for a little while. been having the only designer’s block for a while now when it comes to making div layouts or website layouts… its annoying.

Edit: IE…. hate that damn browser!!!!!! spent like two hours fixing little knacks that just looked nasty on IE… especially the 468×60 ads space… the link under it was fine on firefox and netscape but IE wanted to be stupid and place the link next to the ad… I also fixed up the small banners section for those who weren’t able to view the images. Same with the glitters as well. I also fixed up the myspace 2.0 preview. It seems that myspace updated a few things and the old stylesheet wasn’t up anymore. But its fixed and all layouts still work. So no worries.

Man i joined this website subeta.net a while back…well a month ago when i saw the ad on this adoptable website i go to Valenth and was like what the hell. might as well try it. Have to say its a pretty cool Roleplaying site. you grab a pet, make a avatar and make money. use the money to style your avatar up and so forth. Sounds boring but theres more. hard to explain but i’ve been addictive these past few days. that chick on the side is my avatar for the game. if yah guys join lets become friends cuz i have like none

Also i might just change my layout again… i like it and all and might use the images again but the whole black content section isn’t all that great. White is. I’ll keep the same format just change the header and colour scheme around… so its not much.

Also for those asking the header images came from imagescan union and the fonts are trashhand and City Burn Night After Night And We Spraypaint The Walls

any good colors to use? i might pic some super ‘omg i’m blind’ colors and lose my visitors. lol or ‘man this is soo boring’ scheme… i don’t know if you guys got some pallets then link them my way.
